For more drywall tips visit: www.howtodrywall.co So in this video I'll be showing you how to do three ways during second coat. Make sure that you clean off the 3 way sorta get a rough coat on there. Always start with the topside first, and then do the wall side down, and then you wanna do the other wall wall side. Make sure you do your last swipe with the one like shown in the video so that if you leave any grooves with your knife, it will be in the ceiling. End we most the time the ceiling is textured and the texture covers the little groove, if you dont do it that way you will end up with a nice groove on your wall side, which you will have to touch up. The 3 ways are not an easy part to do, you need to be steady with your hand. Lean your hand with your finger onto the wall for more steadiness. You can leave a 3 way with mud in it set up a little before trying do your 3 way, I find its easier to make it sharp. I use a 5 inch knife to wipe the 3 ways, I find the 5 inch knife does the best job. As always if your having alot of problems you cant leave this second coat a little rough for us to sand down during our final sand. As always I make it look easy, so dont get frustrated
